Live music for your event

in Southeastern Michigan or Northwestern Ohio!

First of all...I'm not quitting my day job.  But I enjoy playing some weekend gigs and people seem to like hearing me play guitar, ukulele, banjo, etc.  I specialize in my growing list of original tunes, plus old-time folk standards.  But I also will  cover pop, country, or anything that I find interesting (or you request).  I am drawn to and often write songs with spiritual themes.

What type of music are you looking for?  If it is dance or party music, then I'm not your guy.  But if you are looking for softer tones, coffee-house, or dinner music then read on. 

Tell me your preference and I will tailor a performance for you!  I play solo, with duo partner Ron Muntz playing banjo, with duo partner Guy Manwaring playing percussion, or as part of the Americana quartet Raisin Jam featuring banjo virtuoso Ron Muntz, the very talented Susan Gleason on upright bass, and Michigan Fiddler Hall of Fame inductee Mike Gleason.

If you are owner of a venue but have shied away from live performances because of ASCAP and BMI fees, I/we can provide shows of entirely original and public domain music so those fees never come into play.  I can also do a warm weather themed show on ukulele and guitar playing island and beach type music; alone or with Guy on congas.
